Studio Marvila began as Naomi’s ceramic production space — a place to shape clay and bring playful, functional objects to life. Over time, together with Jonas, it naturally evolved into something more: a home for people to gather, share experiences, and form meaningful connections. Today, it’s a studio, a wine bar, and a community hub in the heart of Marvila, Lisbon.

Naomi is a ceramicist whose work blends playfulness with functionality. From Bubble Mugs to wine spitters and custom pieces, her objects are designed to make everyday rituals more tactile, joyful, and connected to the hand that made them. Her background in craft and design is the heartbeat of Studio Marvila’s workshops, where she invites guests to slow down, get messy, and discover the satisfaction of shaping clay.

Jonas brings his eye for detail, technical knowledge, and love of artisanal things — especially natural wine. With a passion for hospitality, he shapes the way Studio Marvila looks, feels, and gathers people together. His dedication to wine and shared tables is at the core of our tastings, events, and the evolving Studio Marvila Wine Club.

And then there’s Alef, our gentle dog, who keeps us company in the studio and greets our visitors :)

Together, we founded Studio Marvila as a space where craft, wine, and community meet. We believe in the simple things: good clay, good wine, good people.
