Our Intensive Pottery Course is designed for a small group of just 4 people, making it an intimate learning environment where you’ll get plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor.

This intensive pottery workshop is perfect for beginners and intermediates who want to build a strong foundation or refine their existing skills on the wheel. Over the course of two weeks, (but actually just one) we’ll cover everything from centering and wheel-throwing basics to developing consistency, experimenting with new forms, trimming, glazing, and surface techniques.

Pottery classes run for 4 hours each morning (10:00–13:00), leaving your afternoons free to enjoy Lisbon, explore the city, or simply relax.

Between weeks, your pieces will be bisque fired and glaze fired in our studio kiln. On the final day, we’ll come together for a kiln unloading celebration, with drinks and snacks, to admire the finished works you’ve created.

By the end of the intensive pottery course, you’ll not only take home your own handmade ceramics, but also a deeper understanding of the craft and the confidence to continue your pottery journey!!
